On our last day we went to Animal Kingdom for breakfast. We ate at Tusker’s House and saw Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Mickey. Honestly, the boys did not want to go to Animal Kingdom, they wanted to go to the Magic Kingdom. However, there were a few things in AK that Zach and I really wanted to do. I forgot to mention on Day 3 that we went late that night to AK to see the Lion King show. Seth LOVES Lion King. I wanted Mom and Dad to see the show before they left because it is SO good. When we saw the Lion King show 2 years ago, Seth became obsessed with all things Lion King and the obsession hasn’t slowed at all.
Back to Day 5 – we ate at Tuskers House and then went straight to the Safari. Carter and Seth were grouchy – Carter wanted to go ride the cars in Magic Kingdom and Seth wanted to ride Splash Mountain. But we did the Safari anyway and after it was over they both agreed that it was one of their favorite rides. The animals were SO close to our jeep and the boys were really into the story our driver told. There isn’t much to do at Animal Kingdom, but the safari and a few of the shows make it worth it. After the safari, we went to ride the Triceratop Spin (5 times in a row) before we went to the Nemo show. I knew Ethan would love it because Carter and Seth did last time we were there. It did not disappoint. All of the boys loved the show. After Nemo, we headed back to the hotel to quickly change clothes and head to Magic Kingdom for the rest of the day.
We rode several rides in Magic Kingdom, watched the afternoon parade, saw a show on the stage in front of the castle, and ate a great dinner. It was the perfect ending to a great trip. I think we were all ready to go home, but I am so thankful that we were able to go and spend 5 days with our kiddos in such a magical place. 🙂
Carter could not stop looking at the animals to smile for a picture, but he is on the other side of me (still wearing his ears on Day 5).
No zoom used on this picture – we were that close!
Daddy and two of his boys (his two look-alikes) waiting for Nemo to start.
Same three on the people-mover in Magic Kingdom. A new ride for us this year and the boys loved it!
