We are slowly settling into our new school routine. Carter is still doing well and loves his new teacher. I know it will get even easier for him when Seth and Ethan go to school. He does not like hearing about all the things we do while he is at school. 🙂
Switching gears to an adoption update:
Praise God that our Home Study is complete! The final revision was done over the weekend and it is ready to be notarized and then sent off to DC. I am SO ready to mail it off and start our next 8-10 week wait. I can tell that God is going to teach me so much about patience and control through this process. I hope I am able to develop some patience quickly because I have struggled for the last week.
For those of you that were not at our Fundraiser, I wanted to let you know that we are still selling Uganda beads and earrings, as well as a few more t-shirts. Please do not feel pressure to buy either one, but I want to make them available. The Karamojong women of Uganda create these beautiful necklaces by hand and from re-cycled paper. The 147 million orphan organization buys them from the ladies and then makes them available for adoptive families to sell. The profits from these necklaces benefit both the women in Uganda as well as our family’s adoption process.
In the picture below, you can see the t-shirts and necklaces. I only have the multi-colored necklaces left. No red ones. I only have a few t-shirts left – medium, large, and extra large. I also have earrings (picture is below). The necklaces are $25, earrings and t-shirts are $20. I LOVE my necklace…I wear it with everything. If you are interested, leave me a comment or send me your information through the contact page. Thanks for your prayers and support!
I love my t-shirt and necklace! Looking forward to those earrings!
