Visiting family and painting pumpkins

This past weekend we went to Owensboro to visit my parents. It had been several months since we were there and we had a great visit. As usual, the boys spent most the weekend outside. When they weren’t outside, they were asking if they could go outside. I’m thinking it is going to be a LONG winter. πŸ™‚ We went to the Apple Festival while we were there. They have fun little rides for the boys, as well as yummy food for the rest of us. The boys went through a hay maze and played on a mountain of hay bales as well.

Both the boys asked for balloon animals. Seth would not let go of his dog for anything. I’m pretty sure he ate lunch with it too. πŸ™‚

Cheese!

Enjoying the fall weather outside!

The boys love to play in the ditch behind mom and dad’s house. They throw all kinds of leaves and sticks in there. Seth also likes to splash around in the water.

Today I set up the table outside for the boys to paint pumpkins. They loved it! It kept them busy for at least a half hour, which was nice for me. They were so proud of their art!
