Preparing for Easter

We have been pretty busy since we got home from Owensboro last weekend. We are in the process of trying to sell our house to buy another one. We had anticipated moving sometime early ’09, but have decided to go ahead with it now. The market is not great, but houses in our price range sell pretty well considering the economy right now. Plus interest rates are so good right now. We have a contingency contract on a house we love – so we have 3 months to sell our house. It has been crazy. We’ve had tile put down in the bathrooms and are having new carpet laid on Friday. Needless to say I am excited about the possibility of a new house, but will be relieved when the selling part is over! 🙂
Last week Carter had his Easter Party at Preschool and his Spring Program. The party was great. He loved hunting eggs and we have easter egg hunts at our house every day! The Program was so much fun. Carter loved it and was definitely more into singing than he was at the Christmas program. He sang to every song and did all the hand motions. We are going to try to get a video up sometime this week.

Waving to Mom and Dad before they start singing!

Singing “Who made the flowers grow?”

This is good picture of Seth outside after the program.

And this is a good picture of Carter after the program (despite the fact that he is pulling on Seth)!

On Saturday we colored easter eggs with the boys. Carter loved it, Seth preferred eating the crayons that came with the coloring kit. 🙂 This weekend we have an easter egg hunt to go to at Church. The Easter Bunny will be there. I’m anxious to see how Seth does. He has really become attached the last couple of weeks and can give a pretty mean face when someone he doesn’t know tries to hold him. It’s pretty funny. I plan to do a post all about him later on…he is definitely my wild child! 🙂

Daddy and Carter dropping in the eggs.

The face of excitement!

Seth doesn’t know what to think!?!?

  1. I bet that program was so cute!! Carter’s getting to be such a big boy! I can’t wait to see the video!I love dying Easter eggs! I don’t think we could do that this year since Ella Ann would probably hate having her hands dyed! Maybe next year!Have fun at the hunt!love,K
