After such a nasty start to the day, it turned out to be a beautiful day here in Franklin. We had serious wind last night and heavy rain all morning, but by 1:00 it was 70 degrees outside and sunny. Needless to say as soon as the boys woke up from their naps we headed down to the park. The boys are both able to ride in the wagon now, which makes it so much easier! Seth loves to swing, but gets pretty frustrated that he can’t get down while Carter is running around everywhere. I am so ready for him to walk (and I think he is too)! He would be much happier if he could keep up with Carter. We also spent lots of time in the backyard. Carter climbed the tree (with Daddy’s help) while Seth and I played inside (too much wind on his little ears). It was a great afternoon and makes me really excited about this summer. Between the parks, pool, and zoo, it promises to be such a fun summer together!

Neither one of them would look at me. They were kicking each other (a favorite game of theirs that they both love-seriously!)
This picture is actually from last week, but I didn’t have the camera at the park today and I wanted you to see how much Seth loves to swing!
Climbing the tree like a big boy! Carter loves to wear a hat just like Daddy!
This is Carter trying to climb the tree “all by himself”. That is probably his favorite phrase right now.
Seth loves to play in the car. He can climb up all by himself and will stay in there forever!
Here are some other random pictures from our week:

The boys loved watching the snow fall on Wednesday morning. Carter kept telling me we needed to go to the store to buy a long carrot for our snowman’s nose. To his disappointment, we did not get enough snow for a snowman.

Carter building a castle with his new blocks from Nana and Papa. He told me the castle was for me since I’m a princess. Such a charmer, huh?!
