Weekend in Owensboro

We spent the weekend in Owensboro visiting my family. We had a great, long weekend! The boys and I left on Thursday after Carter got out of preschool and Zach came up on Friday night. We went to the Apple Festival on Saturday (an Owensboro annual tradition). It was a beautiful weekend and we all enjoyed being outside. On Sunday, my home church had a reunion. I was able to see a few people from the past and enjoyed visiting with people that I grew up with. I’ll let the pictures tell about the rest of the weekend…

Carter loves snuggling with Papa on the couch!

Carter and Nana made cupcakes on Saturday morning. Daddy and Papa took Carter to Waffle House on Saturday morning and then he came home and made cupcakes with Nana. He had plenty of sweets this weekend!

Carter loved the slides at the Apple Festival!

This was the best picture I got of the boys. One of them was always looking at something else or Seth was trying to eat the hay!

Carter got to sit at the wheel of a fire engine at the Apple Festival. He was admiring the trucks when a firefighter asked him if he wanted to climb up. He thought it was so cool!

Carter’s first carnival ride! He LOVED the rides and cried when it was time to go home.

Seth didn’t get to do too much at the Apple Festival, but he loved playing with the toys at Nana and Papa’s house.
